The shores of Vancouver Island have a very diverse population of marine animals and plants. Whale watchers, naturalists, biologists and beachcombers journey here from all over the world to enjoy the natural wonders of Vancouver Islands shoreline, both above the surface and by divers below the surface.
The warm climate here is a result of warm ocean currents that support many thousands of plants and animals, from plankton to the blue whale and every type in between.
There are giant octopuses here along with ferocious looking wolve eels that will eat from your hand and sea lions and seals along with all the fishes and otters.
