Stamp Falls Park
The Stamp Falls Park is named after one of Port Alberni's early pioneers. The park is full of hiking trails that wander through the lush rainforest setting, going past giant trees, waterfalls and river rapids.
When the annual run of thousands of Pacific salmon begin circling in the pool below Stamp Falls is one of the best times to visit the park. The salmon run from July right up to December.
The Black Bears know when its time to feed on salmon and return each year to fish in the pools, please be bear aware when in the park, along the rivers shore.
