No matter where you travel on Vancouver Island,  you will always be close to a provincial park.
From the incredible rugged beauty of Cape Scott on the north island to the island's west coast in the Pacific Rim National Park, from Strathcona Park at mid Island to the Southern Islands around Victoria, there will be a park ready for you to camp in. The Carmanah Walbran park protects old growth rainforests and in the south, the sunny Hairtrigger LakeGulf Islands cradle dozens of Marine Parks.

Vancouver Island has 150 government designated parks. Some, like Strathcona Provincial Park, are the most incredible parks on Vancouver Island or hikers on  can hike along the most scenic trek on earth (The West Coast Trail), kayakers can go anywhere's on the Island to have fun and cameras could capture the awesome birds and animals for lifetime memories. Vancouver Island has some of the tallest trees in the world and our marine parks call to divers from around the world.
