Morton Lake Park is located north of Campbell River in the Sayward forest area. The parks is onWaterfront At Morton Lake the shores of Morton lake and the adjoining Mohun lake and you can catch Rainbow, Cutthroat and Dolly Varden trout in Mohun lake that grow to amazing sizes. Mohun lake is a very large lake with many bays and Islands to explore and fish in. Mohun lake is part of the 47 km long Sayward Canoe Route. This Canoe route runs through various lakes in a big loop, I worked on this route one winter when I was employed with the BC Forest Service.

There are many ways to enjoy the outdoors in this park, swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking, sunbathing on the white sand beaches or just relaxing around a campfire in the shaded camping area.

The park offers lake front camping, as well as a boat launch, pit toilets and a beautiful picnic area.
