Whether you like to visit our parks or hike on our mountain trails, you can always find a park or
trail nearby on Vancouver Island. Maybe you like to visit galleries or gift shops, Vancouver Island has many very talented artists who's work can be found in fine art galleries up and down the island.
The island has many communities both large and small that offer a variety of things for you to do, there are some great golf courses here and many great resorts to stay in.
There are wilderness tours to see Grizzle Bears and view whales that head out from almost every area of the Island and you can go fishing with guides from most towns, the lodges and resorts usually have their own guides and boats that are available for their guests.
Do you like to ski?, Mount Washington offers some of the best skiing, snowboarding in the world. The mountain regularly has one of the highest snow bases in the world with the resort
staying open for skiing into late spring. Mount Cain offers some great skiing and the mountain views there will just take your breath away.
Victoria has many top of the line hotels where visitors can stay in absolute comfort and the city offers fine dinning, great museums and big name concerts. You can take a horse and buggy ride around the downtown core or visit the underwater museum to see the fish that are here. There is Butchard Gardens with their incredible display of flowers or you could go to butterfly world and see butterflies from around the world.
The Island has so much to offer, visitors will never get bored here.
